There's not a lot more to say about. All you need is a login to Facebook as usual and the Facepad will work for you, even if you navigate away or close the Facebook tab.
The Facepad checks your Facebook inbox at the interval that you specified and displays the total number of new and unread messages with a little badge on the toolbar button (Pic.1)
You can also enable notifications, and a fade-in window brings the new and unread email counts to your desktop (Pic.2) Set an alert sound that notifies you when new messages arrive.
By clicking on Facepad button in your Chrome toolbar you can access all of Facebook's functionality in a small window that looks like Facebook on an iPhone
